In continuation to the previous post, this one covers the second half of my short trip to Tamil Nadu. Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi are absolutely beautiful places to be visited at least once! The blue of the water calms your soul like no other. The Indian Ocean sits comparatively still at Dhanushkodi but its vastness and grandeur is only intensified manifold because of its calmness and oh the blue ocean steals your breath away!
I hope that you will be as mesmerised as I was while I visited these places!
Again this was a combination of camera and phone photographs 😛
Lighthouse, boats on the shore and trees, the perfect coastline shot.
And it has arrived
From Madurai to Rameshwaram
Imagine the how it feels to travel by train, through that track!
A beautiful tribute to India’s nuclear man
Scattered in the stillness
Can’t do without a selfie at such a beautiful place
And the working hours have begun!
School buses lined up
Dhanushkodi was hit by a cyclone in 1964, here are some ruins
His contemplation spot seems pretty awesome!
And here are the cute passengers 😀
Of white sands and blue water
Remains of a beautiful church
Ruins of a disaster.
Enjoying her own company.
Skimming through stuff
The shops at one of the stretches of Dhanushkodi, almost closed 😛
Some other structures that survive even now
And leaving this mesmerising place.
